Doç. Dr. Gamze Bektaş, Avrupa Plastik, Rekonstrüktif ve Estetik Cerrahi Yeterlik Kurulu (EBOPRAS) sertifikasına sahip Plastik, Rekonstrüktif ve Estetik Cerrahi Uzmanıdır.

  • Eskişehir’de doğdu ve 2004 yılında Osmangazi Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nden mezun oldu. İzmir Tepecik Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Çocuk Cerrahisi Kliniği’nde kısa bir süre çalıştıktan sonra, 2005–2012 yılları arasında Akdeniz Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Plastik, Rekonstrüktif ve Estetik Cerrahi Anabilim Dalı’ndauzmanlık eğitimini tamamladı. Uzmanlık eğitimi süresince mikrocerrahi alanında kapsamlı deneyim kazandı.
  • Akdeniz Üniversitesi’nde gerçekleştirilen dünyanın ilk uterus nakli ile Türkiye’nin ilk yüz ve üst ekstremite nakillerinde görev alan multidisipliner ekiplerin aktif bir üyesiydi.
  • 2011 yılında, European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) tarafından düzenlenen yazılı ve sözlü sınavları başarıyla tamamlayarak EBOPRAS sertifikasını aldı.
  • Uzmanlık eğitimi sırasında, Türk Plastik, Rekonstrüktif ve Estetik Cerrahi Derneği’nin 33. Ulusal Kongresi’nde, “Alt Dudak Rekonstrüksiyonunda Fonksiyonel Gracilis Kas Flebi Deneyimlerimiz” başlıklı çalışmasıyla Asistan Klinik Bildiri Yarışması’nda birincilik ödülü aldı.
  • 2012 yılında, Londra’daki Moorfields Eye Hospital’da perioküler cerrahi alanında gözlemci olarak bulundu. 2015 yılında ise Türk Plastik, Rekonstrüktif ve Estetik Cerrahi Derneği tarafından düzenlenen Temel Mikrocerrahi Kursu’nda eğitmen olarak görev yaptı.
  • 2012–2013 yılları arasında Tatvan Devlet Hastanesi’nde devlet hizmeti yükümlülüğünü tamamladı.
  • 2013–2015 yılları arasında Prof. Dr. Ömer Özkan ile birlikte çalışarak özellikle rinoplasti, yüz estetik cerrahisi ve cerrahi olmayan yüz gençleştirme uygulamaları alanlarındaki deneyimini geliştirdi.
  • 2015 yılında, Ankara’da düzenlenen Türk Plastik, Rekonstrüktif ve Estetik Cerrahi Derneği 37. Ulusal Kongresi’nde, “Modifiye Rektosigmoid Kolon ile Vajinal Rekonstrüksiyon” başlıklı çalışmasıyla Uzman Araştırma Yarışması Klinik Dalında birincilik ödülü aldı.
  • 2019–2023 yılları arasında İstinye Üniversitesi’nde Kök Hücre ve Doku Mühendisliği alanında yüksek lisans eğitimini tamamladı.
  • Doç. Dr. Gamze Bektaş’ın ulusal ve uluslararası hakemli dergilerde yayımlanmış veya ortak yazarı olduğu 30’dan fazla bilimsel yayını bulunmaktadır.
  • Halen İstanbul’da Anka Estetik ve Plastik Cerrahi’de çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir. Başlıca ilgi alanları rinoplasti, yüz estetik cerrahisi, göz kapağı cerrahisi, yüz gençleştirme ve cerrahi olmayan estetik uygulamalardır.
